Round Seven Colchester September 4th

14th August Practice for the STCC went very well out qualifying the other 21.5 runners in the field and sitting a respectable 7th in A with only one 21.5 runner in front of me, due to a mistake in the last round of qualification on my part. Overall my lap times were good . I came away with a good ESC setup and a good starting point on gearing as well .

Only running very old worn out tyres today gives me a lot of confidence when new tyres will be fitted on race day , Only problem of the day was that one of my motors kept going sensorless. I having stripped it down and now sorted this out and it wasn't a major problem after all ! The tape had come off the sensor board and wrapped itself around the shaft , After a quick clean and new tape fitted its sweet again and will be going back in for the Saturday practice on the 3rd .
